SMALL GRANTS STORIES: LIFEEYE LLC

COVID-19 Response / Articles / 03-10-2021

"After a brief stint as a university teacher, I launched LifeEye LLC, a project that helps farmers be more efficient through artificial intelligence technology. We established our business in Beja, expanded our skills, and eventually developed a solution to remotely monitor cattle and instruct farmers on how to maximize dairy productivity. After the pandemic hit, we applied for the COVID-19 Enterprise Recovery Fund established by the US government through USAID Tunisia JOBS. The assistance helped us recover from a decline in activity during the pandemic and finance the development of a new tech solution for milk collection centers. Once this solution hits the market, our development potential will only increase. We have already begun to recruit new technicians, although we are struggling to find the right candidates."
