"I began my pipe-making business in June 2019, but struggled to make progress. After waiting for equipment for two years and setting up my facility, social protests in Tataouine and the COVID-19 crisis caused further setbacks. The Covid-19 Enterprise Recovery Fund established by the US government as part of the USAID Tunisia JOBS program enabled me to invest in a new machine and increase the size of my team so that I could double production and make up for a loss of income during the crisis."
