YOUTH STORIES: Hana Missaoui - CFA Kasserine

Workforce development / Articles / 26-06-2023

Despite the fact that I had dropped out of school at a very young age, I was determined to enroll in a vocational training course to obtain a diploma. I knew it would help me find work. I had to choose between training in clothing design or as a kitchen assistant. Since I cook at home for my family, I wanted to learn a totally new skill. So, I enrolled in an Elementary Clothing Design training at the Sbeitla vocational training center. After obtaining my Professional Qualification Certificate (Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle), I wanted to go a step further. I joined the Kasserine vocational training center to specialize in modeling. I had to make a lot of sacrifices, but I'm proud to have been able to persevere and get my stylist diploma this year. Now I’m planning to continue training to become a Senior Stylist. To achieve that, I have to look for a job to earn the money I need to pursue my dream and to be financially independent during the training journey. I was delighted when the Kasserine center contacted me to let me know about a job fair*, which came at just the right time in my job search. I was very interested in the participating companies, especially because many of them are in the textile sector. I hope to land a job following the interviews I've had.
