YOUTH STORIES: Cyrine Mechri - University of Sfax

Workforce development / Articles / 03-08-2023

I've always dreamed of being a model or of working in the fashion industry, and that's what motivated me to attend this career day*. Despite the fact that I'm still in my first year of a bachelor's degree in business computing at the University of Sfax, I seized the opportunity to get a closer look at a career in the fashion world that I find so attractive. Having already attended training for interview preparation and CV correction, I found it very easy to introduce myself and talk about my academic background, my passion for clothing, and my desire to work in a dynamic company. The recruiters seemed interested in my skills and enthusiasm. Getting a part-time job will allow me to develop my professional skills in a fulfilling environment while continuing my studies and examining potential ways to combine business computing and fashion in my future career. I see this event as a real opportunity for youth who are looking for job opportunities because, in addition to CV training, it brings us even closer to our first jobs.
