Created in 2018, SMSA El-Wafa is a mutual agricultural services company located in Sbeitla, an underserved village in southwestern Tunisia, in the governorate of Kasserine. The SMSA is composed of 87 members and specializes in the cultivation of tomatoes, which it sells to an intermediary who processes the yield into sundried tomatoes and exports to Italy.
